XJ-13
This crowd pleasing sativa dominant hybrid is a cross of Jack Herer and G13 haze. A real power house of a strain that produces large pungent flowers that are light green with bright orange pistols and covered in sticky trichomes. The buds have a gassy citrus aroma, with accents of earthy pine and hops, which is reflected well in its flavor. The effect is light and euphoric, ideal for initiating creative flow or stimulating conversation. A great strain for treating stress, mood, and appetite issues.
More about this strain: XJ-13
XJ-13 is a true Southern California clone-only variety, bred when the green thumbs at Orange County’s Patient Care in Santa Ana pollinated a G-13 female with pollen from a male Jack Herer (courtesy of Paradise Seeds), then re-pollinated a cutting of the new plant with Jack Herer again to give the strain a sweeter scent and more Sativa-dominant properties.
Orange County’s Patient Care reports a sweet citrus aroma from XJ-13, with effects both energetic and stress-relieving. The strain won bronze for Best Sativa at the 2012 High Times’ Cannabis Cup and took silver for Best Concentrate in 2014.
